I recently created a post about one of the poker tournaments that I like to play at Carbon Poker. You can read that article here.

If you have already signed up and started playing at Carbon Poker, this post will not be for you; instead this article is intended for people who have not signed up at Carbon Poker yet.

Carbon Poker normally offers new depositing players a 100% bonus worth up to $600. This is there typical standard bonus for new poker players to the website.

However, you can now receive a 150% bonus up to $750 for a limited time when you use the Carbon Poker bonus code PNRBONUS. This is an exclusive bonus that is only available if you follow the link provided.

This bonus will allow you to deposit $500 and have a chance to earn up to $750 in bonus money. This is compared to the ordinary poker bonus where you will need to deposit $600 to have a chance to earn up to $600 in bonuses.

In order to receive the bonus money, you will need to earn Carbon Poker Bonus Points. For every 75 Bonus Points earn, you will earn $1 of the total bonus available. Each time that you earn 375 points, $5 of bonus money will be released into your account. That means you will receive $5 into your account a total of 150 times.

You will need to collect a total of 56,250 Carbon Poker Bonus Points to release all $750. You will have a total of 60 days to claim the bonus money after you make your first deposit.

While 60 days doesn’t sound like a lot of time to accumulate over 50,000 points, here is an example of what is necessary to accomplish this feat:

You can start by playing at the $1/$2 ring game tables. They have a maximum buy-in of $200. You should be able to play over 75 raked hands per hour. This number may be kind of skewed one way or another based upon how often the hand you play gets raked. Carbon poker has a “No Flop, No Drop” policy which means that if you do not see the flop in a hand, you will not pay rake on the hand.

In this example, you should be able to collect at least 150 points per hour of playing poker. That means that you would need to play for 375 hours before you will receive the entire bonus. That would mean you would need to average about 6 hours a day at this rate. This is the slowest rate that I would expect a person to go if they are a serious poker player.

If you do this at two different cash tables, you can double that point total to 300 points per hour. Obviously, if you are good enough, you can play at 3 or 4 tables at the same time. The same can be said if you are playing at tables with higher stakes.

Realistically, I would expect a decent poker player to be able to complete this in about 150 hours give or take 50 hours. That would be the relative equivalent of averaging 2 and half hours per day.

I haven’t yet found any additional options for Mobile Poker. However, I wanted to keep the blog fresh; so I am going to introduce you to some of the mobile sports betting features that you can engage in at different websites.

Punters will find that many of the sportsbooks are now offering a mobile betting platform. For instance, I have included a screenshot of Bet365 mobile sports to my right.

Because betting on sport involves less software than poker or casino games, many of the large companies have begun to incorporate their betting features for people who want to place bets from their iPhone, iPad, Android or other mobile/tablet devices.

It is easier for sports betting sites to include all of their normal betting options. This includes placing bets on most sporting events around the world. You can bet on the moneyline, spread betting, totals betting and prop bets on most of the major events.

Sites like Bet365 also offer special features such as Live In-Play betting. Let’s say Arsenal scores 2 goals in the first half like they did over the weekend; you can place all kinds of different bets like which team will score the 3rd goal or whether the opponent can make a comeback and draw.

Some of the other features that is offered at some of the top sports betting sites include watching live sporting events or being able to place bets through the telephone. The bookmakers will offer video and/or radio feeds for the live sporting event that you are placing bets on. This is especially handy if you have an iPad or tablet device; the larger screen makes watching and rooting for your bets easier.

Mobile Sports Betting Bonus

Bet365 is offering a free mobile betting bonus to all punters who make their first deposit and bet from their mobile phone. You can receive up to $100 (or equivalent currency) in Free Plays when you use your mobile to place bets.

You will receive a match on bets placed from the mobile up to $100. You will be required to place a bet of at least $2 to be eligible for this bonus. There will be some sporting events that do not qualify. This primarily includes bets that have odds that are less than 1.5 to 1.

This is in addition to their traditional sports betting bonus. You can receive a 100% match on your first deposit up to £200. There will be similar rules with this bonus. Some bets will not be available with bonus money including bets with low odds.

Carbon Poker runs one of the best multi-table tournament promotions for online poker players in the industry. Every month the poker room hosts a monthly Tourney King leaderboard promotion where everyone will have a chance to win cash. Carbon Poker will track your monthly MTT play and if you finish in the top 250 on one of the two leaderboards you’ll earn a seat in the monthly Tourney King tournament.

Each month Carbon Poker tracks two leaderboards for low limit players and high limit players. If you play a variety of MTT’s you can earn a seat in both of the monthly Tourney King tournaments if you finish in the top 250 on both leaderboards. The 1st leaderboard for low limit players is for MTT’s with a buy-in of $0 – $19.99 while the high limit leaderboard is for MTT’s with a buy-in of $20+. The leaderboards are tracked by Carbon Poker every month and you can see how you’re doing by viewing the leaderboard.

If you finish in the top 250 on either leaderboard you’ll receive entry into the Grand Final that month for your level. The Grand Final is where players will have a chance to win their share of the $20,000 up for grabs every month in the Tourney King Promotion. Each player won’t start with the same amount of chips in the Grand Final. The amount of chips you start with in the Grand Final is based on how many points you earned on the leaderboard in the given month.

The 1st place prize in the Grand Final for high limit players is $3000 while the low limit monthly tourney king will walk away with a cash prize of $1500. The cash is deposited directly into your Carbon Poker account after the tournament and there are no rollover requirements that need to be met on the money you win in this promotion. The top 50 players out of the 250 players that get to play in each Grand Final will win a prize, which means you have a 20% chance of winning a prize once you make the Grand Final.

Most poker room don’t have promotions for MTT players other than the few really big poker rooms. CarbonPoker.ag is a great online poker site to play multi-table poker tournaments and this promotion is icing on the cake. The leaderboards are updated on the Carbon Poker site daily, which will give you an idea of how many leaderboard points you’ll need to earn to crack the top 250 players each month.

The great thing about the way the leaderboard points are calculated is that volume doesn’t necessarily mean everything. If you win a big MTT you’re going to earn a lot of leaderboard points for that single victory. Volume will obviously help your chances, but it only takes a couple deep runs in big MTT’s at Carbon Poker every month to crack the top 250 players.

Mobile poker is just one of the games that can play from your cell phone. The majority of mobile gambling sites are for online casino players. In the past year or so, a lot of the more popular online casinos have created software for you to play casino games from you smartphone and mobile devices.

As you might guess, the majority of these casinos cannot be played by people who live in the United States. This is because of the same rules that have prevented a lot of people from playing poker online. The mobile gambling apps are primarily going to be available to people in the UK, Canada, Europe and Australia.

Here are a few of the best mobile casinos that you will find:

32Red: They offer a £50 instant bonus for new mobile players! 32Red uses Microgaming software. Microgaming has created the Spin 3 mobile casino software.

This software is used by all mobile casinos that use Microgaming. There are currently 20 different mobile games that are offered.

This includes about half mobile slots and the other half are table and parlor games like blackjack, video poker, roulette and keno. If you make a deposit of £50 or more through your iPhone or other mobile, you will receive a £50 instant bonus to play these mobile games.

mFortune: This mobile casino is mostly for players in the UK. You must sign up from your mobile in order to play these games. mFortune has created their own proprietary mobile games. There is currently 10 mobile games offered and you can see some of these below:

You can see that they offer a Texas Hold’em Poker game. This is a real mobile poker game that is offered. You can play for free or real money and there are no robot players, only real players. You can also set up a private table to play with your friends.

In addition to that, you can try 5 different slots and fruit machines and a “Sexy Poker” video poker game. There is also a mobile bingo room that is offered with several different bingo rooms that you can play at.

Slotland: Hey USA mobile fans! Did you know that this is your only mobile games option right now? You can choose from a selection of 6 different mobile games.

2 of these games are video poker and and 4 of these games are slots. The 2 video poker games are Striking 7s and Jacks or Better. The 4 slots games are Golden 8, Lucky Stars, Treasure Box and Booster.

It’s been a while since I’ve actually been able to do an update on mobile poker. There really hasn’t been much around that has impressed me in the past year. Of course, online poker regressed this past year as the largest consumer of mobiles – the United States – decided to crack down on online poker players.

There have been a couple of sites that have offered mobile poker tables, but they weren’t that popular and didn’t really have very good mobile software. But, I have found a pair of mobile sites that have develop a pretty decent mobile poker game. Please note that neither of the following mobile poker sites will accept players from the United States:

Switch Poker

<img align="right" style="padding-left:8px alt="switch-poker-iphone" src="http://www.mobilepokerexposed.com/wp-content/uploads/switch-poker-iphone.gif" title="Switch Poker played on an iPhone" class="alignnone" width="270" height="150" />Switch Poker is the home of online poker to all iPad, iPod and iPhone users. The mobile software that is offered at Switch Poker is currently only compatible with Apple mobile devices.

Switch Poker offers real money poker tables with a maximum of 6 players at a table. These table are currently only for head-to-head poker ring games, however there are plans to expand this and introduce Sit’n'Gos tables and Multi-table tournaments in the future.

Currently, you can play rings games with stakes ranging from 1¢/2¢ up to $5/$10. If you would like to try them out, you can sign up and go to the play chip tables. If you would like to learn more, take a look at this Switch Poker review.

Terminal Poker

Terminal Poker is available for anyone who has a mobile smartphone. It is not limited to Apple products like Switch poker. This means Terminal Poker should be your choice if you use an Android or Blackberry. However, you can also play at Terminal poker if you do have an iPhone, etc.

The mobile poker software was designed to only allow a maximum of 5 players at a table. There are lots of options available with the mobile software including Hand History. Terminal Poker offers an hourly freeroll tournament.

You can also get a bonus at Terminal Poker. The bonus is a 200% match up to $400. Like most poker bonuses, the money is not received upfront but is earned by playing at the poker tables. You will earn points by contributing money toward the rake.

Future of Mobile Poker

As soon as the United States legalizes online poker, you will see an explosion of mobile poker apps and online poker sites that offer mobile poker rooms. Until then, mobile poker is going to be remain a niche.

Most serious poker players that I know will continue to be playing poker from their computer. This is because they can open up 4 tables at once and play at a frantic speed. Mobile poker is going to be more for the people who are on the go, but still want to have fun playing for small stakes at a single poker table.

Still, if mobile poker became more popular and accepted as a media, a lot of the poker pros would simply log in and play a quick cash game while they are out and about or waiting in line for something.

If you are in a game of Texas hold em Poker and you are dealt pocket jacks what do you do? You can open up the pot with a raise and then you can raise again, when it is your call to.

If you are in the middle position and have pocket jacks then you need to raise. You may get called by another player. There are other scenarios that give you the opportunity to play pocket jacks.

You need to play pocket jacks according to the position you are currently in. Most of the time, you will raise the bet when you have one. You want to get to play the flop with only one or two players playing against you at the most.

In the early position, without any raises, you can make a strong raise. The amount you raise will depend on how the game is going. The main objective is to limit your field to one or two opponents.

If the pot has been raised up then you can raise the amount even higher if necessary. Only if there is an opening though.

If you are in the middle position, you will be able to raise if no one else has raised. You want to discourage weak handed players to play and raising the bet will only cause them to fold.

If you are in the late position and if the pot is not raised and there are only a few players left, you may be able to raise the bet but reduce the size of that bet. Make sure that you limit the amount of room you leave the other Poker players when you raise the bet even more. You want to flop against just one opponent and not several.

Now that it is time to play the flop with your two pair of jacks, you will probably enter the flop with a very strong hand. Keep in mind that you probably won’t be able to improve your hand though.

You want to avoid flopping an ace, king, or queen if you have a pocket jack. Instead you need to get everyone worried by doing a continuation bet. This will either make the other guy fold or they too will see your bet. If any of the other players do not fold but continue on the game then you may want to go ahead and fold because the chances are, they hold a winning hand.

Flopping the under cards is a common flop and if you are holding pocket jacks it is a good idea. If you have an overpair you may be holding a great hand. You will be able to bet strong in order to profit from the hand.

Flopping a set is a big deal when you hold pocket jacks. You could win a large pot in the end. You still need to proceed with caution by betting out though.

When playing pocket jacks you only have two outs. When the pot is raised during a turn or river you need to fold.

Well this really blows. I thought we were making progress towards the legalization of online poker and getting the natural jump that the game would take to all of the mobile smart phone platforms. As I have said before, there isn’t much to report on the mobile poker front. Now with the US government sticking their greedy hands into the fold, I can almost kiss this site goodbye.

But, if I can’t speculate about the next craze in online poker, I can subvert their will and show you the places that still offer online poker to Americans.

As of right now, most American poker players were completely shocked on Friday, April 15 when the federal government went after and shut down operations in the US for four of the largest online poker rooms: Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars, Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet.

To tell you the truth, I’ve never played at either Absolute or UB because I’ve heard some shady things in the past about cracks in their poker software. Specifically, I remember a story that showed that players could see the cards for one of the two sites. Anyways, they are both owned by the same group and I never played at either poker room.

I did play at both Full Tilt and PokerStars, but for the past 10 months or so I had been favoring PokerStars and their Home Games network. Well, not anymore … at least for now.

Still want to play online poker in the US?

There are still online poker networks that offer services to U.S. based clientele. First and foremost is the Cake Poker network, which I have promoted recently as the only viable mobile poker website in this article.

You can also obviously play at Cake Poker without using a Windows Mobile device, just like any other online poker room. Cake Poker. The software may appear a little different then you are used to, but it doesn’t take long to master.

Other Poker Networks

There are a couple of other poker networks that are still alive and kicking. This includes one of the new largest poker rooms for US players – Bovada Poker. Being the new largest US poker room isn’t saying that much right now, as all the casual fans of online poker have stopped playing.

On average, there will be between 500 and 1000 real money players at Bovada’s Poker rooms at any one time. This very well may increase substantially as Full Tilt and PokerStars refugees start to look for other places to play.

Also, you will find the Merge Poker network is still alive and well. The largest online poker room under the Merge network is called Carbon Poker.

Again, currently these poker rooms are rather small in numbers. Carbon is currently averaging between 300 and 800 real money players at a given time. Like Bovada, I expect this number to increase in the coming weeks and months. Carbon also has side games that you can play while you are in one of the poker rooms.

Lastly (for now), there is the Yatahay Poker Network. The largest poker room in this network is Doyle’s Room, which is based off of the legendary poker player Doyle Brunson. If you would like more information about Doyle’s Room – click here.

Texas Hold’em Poker has taken over all card games as the number one poker game played by people in all countries.

People prefer playing poker to any card game as this game is full of excitement and thrill of winning; not only is luck involved, but you must have the skills to outwit other poker players. Want to be a poker winner? Read my tips and download Winner Poker to test your skills.

Poker is a game where you require a combination of both luck and intelligence. Although poker has always been a very famous game, since there have been live tournaments shown on the television the popularity has increased exponentially.

Poker has been on TV for a long time but more people didn’t start watching and playing until they introduced the hole camera. Everyone could finally figure out how the experts were playing. People not only love watching poker but love this game even more when they start to play it.

However there are a lot of ways to play this game like you could call your friends over, play at clubs where they have poker tables, join for a tournament and the most popular play in on the internet. Nowadays there are thousands of people, who are playing poker on the internet, and these can be played for free or even real cash depending on what you desire.

Texas Holdem Winning Tips

There are many strategies that people follow, take a look at these common poker tells and mistakes.

When you are playing poker with 9 or 10 players at the table, you must be patient and try not to play a low hand thinking you might win. You need to have an Ace or at least a King paired with 10 or any higher or most pocket pairs in order to play a hand.

But remember that its always better to play this game patiently than hurrying yourself into a bad game. Almost all of my killer losses that I’ve endured have been hands I never should have been in. If you catch your bad hand, you likely won’t get paid much. But that may also be your last hand if someone calls.

Once players start getting eliminated, you should start playing more and more of the average starting hands. Increase the amount of hands you are playing the later into a tournament you go.

Try not to bluff unless you can classify the poker players at your table. The main reason not to bluff often is you don’t want to be classified as a player that will go with any two cards. People will constantly test you and it won’t be easy to continue to bluff.

Bluffing in the right spots makes a lot of sense. You have to know the situation and have the right timing. If you haven’t played a hand in 10 or more hands, raise the blinds and watch everyone but the strongest hands fold. If no one has called and you one of the last to act, make a modest raise to see if anyone is hiding anything. Otherwise, everyone should fold to you.

Position makes a lot of difference in a poker game this is important as after a flop the player who is at the lower position has to respond first by which you will get an idea of what kind of a hand the player has. This game requires calculation; therefore make sure you calculate properly before you play.

Stealing a blind can be done by raising the bet 3 to 5 times, by doing this the other players will feel that you have an excellent hand, this will make them fold their cards. But remember this should be done when you think your holding a decent hand or if you are last positioned.

Unfortunately, I have not found any new places that are offer mobile poker. I know that this will take off some day soon because a lot of poker players are starting to get smart phones. Mobile poker is only the natural progression. However, one of the things that you will find more of are mobile sports betting sites.

These were a few tips you could keep in mind while playing Texas Hold’em Poker. Poker is a game which is full of excitement, fun, thrill and suspense that’s one of the reasons that this game is love by many people world wide. Playing poker is not very difficult once you get to know all the rules it becomes easy for you to play.

Three card poker is fast becoming one of the big draws for gamblers looking to play in a casino. The attraction of huge jackpots and the elimination of the need to bluff, ensures that there is both money and fun to be had when playing. In three card poker you are not against other players but against the dealer so there is no need for rivalry, making for a much more pleasant gambling experience. Ready to get started? Play 3 Card Poker at UB.com and you will receive a free money bonus as long as you use the UB Referral Code when signing up for your UB player account.

The table is pretty similar to a blackjack table with the dealer standing opposite the players. On the table, in front of each player are three places marked out for chips:

•	Ante – This is the amount of money that has to be placed on the table in order for the player to participate in the game.
•	Play – If after looking at their hand the player chooses to continue, they place an amount of money equal to their ante in this space.
•	Pair Plus Game – In this game the player is purely betting on getting a pair or better and it becomes irrelevant as to what the dealer holds. It you place money on the pair plus section and win big then you don’t need to worry about the dealer having a better hand as you will get paid regardless.
At this point it must be emphasised that the ante and the pair plus bet are placed before the cards are dealt and that the play bet is placed after the cards are dealt. In order for the player to win they must beat the dealer’s hand. If the dealer holds no cards at the level of queen or higher, the dealer has not qualified to play and all players receive double their ante and keep their play bet. If the dealer holds a queen or higher and the player has a better hand, they get paid according to how rare the hand they hold is.

The hierarchy of hands is slightly different from regular poker owing to the changing odds when only three cards are dealt. In three card poker three of a kind replaces four of a kind and a straight beats a flush. The odds of hitting a pair or higher run at about twenty five percent. The payout for the hands increases incrementally, with a straight flush paying out at forty to one. If the player has both the play bet and the pair plus bet they get paid out twice. This double payout makes three card poker an incredibly lucrative game and certainly worth trying your luck with.

It is worth bearing in mind that there are often local bonuses and smaller rules with regards to payout depending on where you are playing. Often these are to the benefit of the player so always ask if there are any deviations to the regular game when you sit down at the table.

If you live in the U.S. and enjoy making a friendly wager online, you may have found it increasingly difficult to deposit your money into any number of online gambling sites. Since The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 (UIGEA), which prohibits the transfer of funds from a financial institution to online casinos, many online casinos have stopped taking U.S. players. Realizing that such a knee-jerk reaction is unnecessary, other casinos have simply stopped allowing U.S. deposits via credit cards and personal bank accounts. There are, however, several online casinos that accept U.S. players and continue to allow those players to use Visa and Mastercard to deposit money into their casino.

Using credit cards to deposit money into an online casino is truly the easiest way to go. It is recommended that you first seek out these casinos before turning to other options. However, if your favorite online casino does not allow credit card deposits, there are several options available. Look at the “cashier” or “banking” page of the casino’s website to review their deposit options. There are a handful of names that you will see quite often.

The first of these is Neteller, one of the most widely used e-wallets. With this service, you can deposit money into your Neteller account, and then use that money to deposit at online casinos. With this service you can transfer money to merchants, or transfer money to a friend’s Neteller account with their peer-to-peer option. They also offer a neteller card with which you can withdraw cash from your account at an ATM. Unfortunately Neteller no longer services customers from the USA.

Another name you will see quite often is eWalletXpress. This is an online account that you can fund with your bank account. It is convenient and secure. There are deposit limits and fees associated with funding your eWalletXpress account, but transferring money to and from participating merchants is always free.

U.S. players could also use middle-man UseMyWallet. It is one of the fastest growing ewallet systems today. You can fund your UseMyWallet account with credit cards, International Bank Wires, Western Union, Moneygram and in many different currencies. They use state of the art technology and security to protect your financial information.

There are other financial go-betweens for U.S. players including 900Pay, which makes a charge to your home phone bill, and QuickTender, an instant online payment service much like Neteller. If you can’t find a casino you like that allow credit card deposits, any of the above online financial account services is a good choice for U.S. players.
